I created this sound to emulate what a dance beat might sound like in a canyon. Was originally a hot dog warmer with a nice rattle to it. Recorded on zoom h2.

This is a 808 bass which i sampled from my novation drum station. The sample covers one full octave from c#0-c1. The sound was recorded through a yamaha m1516 which pretty much has the same circuit as a api. As you can hear it sounds pretty much the same as a roland 808. The drum station uses analog modeling so the sound is pretty nice. Feel free to use in your productions. There is no need to contact me if you release a track with this sample just enjoy.

Recorded with sennheiser me67 to zoom h4n as a mono track at 24bit/48k. Mic inside wrapped up news paper tapped with a pencil. I read about it and found when layered with punches and other hits, it gives the hit a nice little kick in the sub-woofer.

An approximately 2 minute in length beat for backgrounds. Listen with headphones or nice speakers otherwise ambiance and bass line do not pick up. Produced with cakewalk sonar. Contains samples of "harp" by pryght one, "rain" by marec, and "cinematic boom norm" by herbert boland.

This is a sound i recorded using a zoom h1 at a trampoline park. There are walking sounds on the floor, nice and bass heavy, walking on the foam pads, and walking and jumping on the trampoline. Be carefull, there is some dialogue between sounds.

A kick drum produced for moody trance project. Production process: sound generated from kick synth; signal splitted in two bands; high band signal filtered, distorted and panned (this gives nice roughness and makes kick sound pretty good with center panned bassline); low band signal equalized with some re-verb; both bands mixed back together.

A kick i created somewhere between 2012-2014. It belongs to a pack "harha's hardstyle kicks" and i don't have the interest to describe every kick in this pack separately. For pitching the bass part / tail up and down, i suggest using cool edit pro or adobe audition. Cubase pitching/timestretch algorithms are quite nice as well.

I recorded a thunderstorm with my samsung galaxy m20 out of my bathroom for 10 minutes. There is a corrugated plastic roof, which gives the rain a nice, but also a tinny sound. That's why highlighted the bass sounds and reduced the high noises for a better experiance. I also looped it, so it is 30 minutes long with fade-in and fade-out. Enjoy!.

My drum loops created in pro tools from the winston's "amen brother" break. These are just tests, although they do loop quite nice if you line them up right. . . . . Heavily pounding bassdrum originally made from 10 litre bottle punching sounds recorded with my fake shure c608 mic and heavily processed by adding some modulations, distortions, layering some attack and setting bass part (under 200 hz) to mono. Will be nice choice to produce hip-hop drums, or experimental techno also for making cinematic thunder-like booms.

Nice moody soft piano loop at 160bpm, might work for liquid dnb vibes, use it how you like!. Piano was spitfire labs soft piano and put through a short reverb processed with a granulator. Enjoy :). This is a nice little study written by guillermo gomez and is from frederick noad's book 'the idiot's guide to the guitar. ' it's a great book and don't let the title fool you. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak and edited on sony sound forge. Sorry it's not the best recording (too much hiss and bass) and i may do it over. Please comment on what you will use it for. This is a recording i made for one of my songs. I found it nice to run the group's output through the ohmforce ohmicide and have some fun with the separate bands. The original loop consists of me, drumming on my metal kitchen-sink with drum-brushes. The snary accents are the brushes on the back of my acoustic guitar. All recorded with a neumann u87 and mangled through a ua solo610 with tube-gain cranked up. The bassdrumsound is also an handplayed sound from my nord lead. All recorded in 48/16.

I don't know what combination of (free (as in beer)) vsts, ni komplete audio 2 interface, and behringer pro~1 synth produced this but i thought it was very soothing and definitely worth sampling!. The bass note at the beginning is f# if you want to use that as well ;). Was going to wait to upload a samplepack after i finish these 3 albums/compilations but this is just too good to sit on. Note to would-be producers: this is what mindset you get into after burning the candle at both ends buyer beware :upside_down_face:.

This one was also made in sylenth1, its a pretty dirty gritty sounding patch i made. Has a bit of the 'decimate' bitcrusher (sylenths', and i also added a bass amp in logic to fatten the sound up, its played in g. I always name my loops with the first letter on its key hence the name ghost chord=) , and is a loop made at 128bpm. Feel free to use it in any of your works + more importantly let me know why you like it?i take quite some time into adding details in my sounds. I find making a loop can be very good for tuning your ears & production techniques, because like an artist if your painting something small u add a lot more detail. Ok, i don't know how many of you might be interested in this, but i figure there's no harm in posting it. I'm working on some original songs. Laptop-based, electronic songs, with many orchestral parts, including violin, viola, cello, and string bass. Presonus studio one has some very nice vst string instruments, and i have some really great ones for kontakt. But they all are missing one thing, and i couldn't find the (admittedly esoteric) sound that i'm looking for anywhere on the internet. Being a viola player myself, i recorded myself playing these very particular incidental sounds. Let me explain-. There's this 'grabby' sound that a well-rosined bow makes just is it is first being drawn across the string. Listen carefully to any of the pros and you'll hear it. In your laptop sequences, if used subtly, right at the point where the first note of a phrase is initiated, this sound can give the string part a marked sense of realism*. This, combined with vibrato, reverb and a nice warm/tube/tape saturation setting, nobody will be able to tell the difference between your vst and the real thing. About the audio-i tried to keep them as pitchless as possible, thus not limiting their utility. I recorded two sets of all four open strings (c, g, d, a), first close mic'ed, and once from a few feet away, in stereo. Or to say it another way, the sounds are as follows-1. Open c close2. Open g close3. Open d close4. Open a close5. Open c far6. Open g far7. Open d far8. Open a far. It's totally overkill for me to record all the different versions, but i suppose somebody out there might find one more appropriate than another for their purposes. They work pretty effortlessly for violin and viola, but you might have to pitch them down for cello and string bass. I added no processing whatsoever, apart from normalizing each individual sound. Aiff, recorded at 44/16. Nady scm-2090 stereo condenser mic, focusrite saffire pro 24 interface, recorded in logic.
